How do you know if your brakes need repair?

Most vehicles have a brake system light that will indicate if a problem is occurring with your brakes. However, there are a few symptoms to look for that will also suggest that your brakes need to be inspected:

• Brake pedal requires more pressure than usual

• Brake system light turns on

• Loss of brake power

• Screeching noise while braking

• Burning smell after braking

• Vehicle pulls to one side while braking

• Vehicle vibrates or shakes while braking
